Estate sales · Oʻahu
We sort, research, price and sell the contents of a home on site, then settle with you in writing. An estimated 25–35% of gross sales, agreed before we start.
Pricing, said plainly
Almost no estate sale company in Hawaii publishes a rate. Where an estate lands in the range depends on what the sale is likely to earn and how much work it takes to get there. Your rate is confirmed in writing after a walkthrough.

What we do

A whole household inventoried, researched, priced, staged and sold on site, then settled in writing.
Learn more
Keep, gift, sell, donate. Sorted room by room, at a pace the family can live with.
Learn more
An entire life's belongings, handled alongside probate and a listing date, so you can deal with the rest.
Learn more
Scheduled backwards from a pack-out or a flight, because shipping a household off-island rarely pays.
Learn moreHow it works
You tell us where the property is and roughly what is in it. If a sale is not the right route, we say so on this call.
We look at the contents, the access and, for a condominium, the house rules. You get a written scope, a schedule and the rate.
The longest stage. Sorting room by room and pricing against completed sales rather than asking prices.
The home is arranged so it can be shopped properly, photographed, and listed where estate sale buyers actually look.
A staffed sale over the agreed days, then an itemized accounting: gross sales, the fee, agreed costs, and what is owed to you.
Why it is different here
A large share of estates here sit in condominiums, where the building decides what is possible before you do. Disposal is by appointment and capped. Humidity is hard on the contents of a house left closed up. And local demand for Hawaiiana, koa and Asian pieces runs well above what mainland price guides say.
Those four things change the plan, and a company that has not worked through them finds out the expensive way.

Who we are
HiEstateSales comes from the team behind Hawaii Property Advisors and Hawaii Coastal Property Management. Hal Wilkerson runs all three. The experience that carries over is the useful kind: Oʻahu homes, the buildings that govern them, and settling with owners in writing.
Where we work
The urban core, from the older single-family neighborhoods above the highway to the high-rise corridor. This is where AOAO house rules decide what is possible.
Larger single-family homes, long-tenure households, and hillside or marina-front access. Deep estates, and the area where furniture volume is highest.
Kailua, Kāneʻohe and the coast north. Older single-family housing, the island's dampest conditions, and the MCBH relocation cycle.
Planned subdivisions with HOA rules, and the relocation cycle around Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam and Schofield Barracks driving the calendar.
Older plantation-era and beach housing, spread out, with distance and seasonal traffic as the governing constraints on scheduling and marketing.
Neighbor island service may be available by special quote. Contact us to discuss your property.
Tell us where the property is, roughly what's in it, and the date you're working toward. We'll come look, tell you what the estate is realistically likely to do, and put the scope and the rate in writing before you commit to anything.
No cost for the consultation. No obligation to book a sale.
